Meet Santa Claus at the UK’s best-rated theme park
Family theme park, Paultons Park, set within the enchanted New Forest in Hampshire, will be transformed this winter into a Christmas wonderland from Saturday, November 24 until Sunday, December 23, on selected dates. Advance tickets for Christmas at Paultons are on sale online now.
Santa’s Grotto is back for 2018, where families can follow Rudolph the reindeer on his journey through magical scenes to find Santa Claus in time for Christmas Eve. Children will have the chance to meet Santa in his Grotto and receive a special gift, included within the price of a day ticket. Adults will also receive their own homemade chocolate festive fayre during their visit.
Visitors can enjoy the delights of ‘A Very Merry Christmas Show’, where they can meet the magical characters, the Snow Princess, Frosty the snowman, Rudolph the reindeer, as well as brother and sister duo, Billy and Belinda elf. Peppa Pig and George will also be joining the festive celebrations by wrapping up in their winter scarves, hats and coats in preparation for the chilly weather in Peppa Pig World.
Other seasonal attractions include a giant musical Christmas tree which will stand in the Entrance Plaza and perform a festive song and light show throughout the day. Visitors can also take a stroll down Show Street which will be decorated for the event using real snow and aptly renamed Snow Street, where they can visit the Park’s state-of-the-art 4D Cinema to watch a screening of the underwater adventure film, Deepo.

Edge, Cobra, Magma, Go-Karts, Dragon Ride, Digger Ride, Seal Falls, T-Cups, Kontiki, Rio Grande Train Ride, Raging River Ride, Bouncer, Trampolines, Water Kingdom and Muddy Puddles will not be open during Christmas at Paultons. Velociraptor will be closed 6 – 25 November and Peppa’s Balloon Ride will be closed 1 – 9 December. All visits through the Santa’s Grotto must be pre-booked.
Peppa Pig World
UK and Eire exclusive and world first, Peppa Pig World, is located at family theme park Paultons Park in Hampshire and opened in 2011.
There are now nine rides including; Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight, Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, Grandpa Pig’s Little Train Ride, Grandpa Pig’s Boat Trip, Daddy Pig’s Car Ride, George’s Dinosaur Adventure, Windy Castle, and, new for the 2018 season, The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club. Other attractions within Peppa Pig World include; George’s Spaceship Playzone, Mr Potato’s Playground and Muddy Puddles, a water splash park.
Family-run theme park Paultons Park opened in 1983. The park covers 140 acres and has more than 70 rides and attractions including Jurassic-themed attraction Lost Kingdom.
In July 2018 Paultons Park won TripAdvisor’s best-rated UK amusement park for the third year in a row. Paultons Park is the only park to have ever received this award three years running.
