When are you re-opening?
We're pleased to say that, after the recent announcement by the Prime Minister, Paultons Park will be able to safely open for the 2021 season on the 12th April. An email will be sent to all guests who hold tickets valid between the 19th March and 11th April 2021, with instructions on how to re-book.
Outdoor gatherings of either 6 people of 2 households will be allowed when the Park re-opens, providing greater flexibility for families to enjoy spending time together - this includes in private gardens like those at Paultons Park.
Face coverings will need to be worn by all guests (with the exception of children under 11 years and anyone with a disability or medical condition that precludes them from wearing a face covering) when entering our:
• Toilets and Baby Care Centres
• Ride and attraction queue lines and whilst using the following rides: Boulderdash, Catopillar, Dino Chase, Dragon Ride, Edge, Expedition Express, Flight of the Pterosaur, Kontiki, Grandpa Pig’s Little Train Ride, Magma, Pirate Ship, Sky Swinger, Temple Heights, Velociraptor, Victorian Carousel, Viking Boats.
• All Indoor facilities/attractions
What are you doing to make the park safe to visit?
We will be operating to a limited capacity to allow for whatever social distancing is deemed necessary for the date of your visit. This will enable us to deliver the best possible guest experience in light of the enhanced procedures we are operating within. All visitors and Season Ticket Holders must book online in advance of their visit.
New measures have been put in place to assist guests with the compliance of social distancing requirements around the Park. This includes messaging and barriers for queue lines at rides, food and beverage outlets and toilet facilities to help families distance themselves from others. Paultons staff will monitor queues to ensure social distancing is maintained. We respectfully ask that guests always follow our staff’s advice and also take responsibility for their own actions by keeping their distance from other people and our team members when out and about around the Park.
Paultons already has first class levels of cleanliness and hygiene. In light of COVID-19 we have enhanced our protocols to increase the amount of sanitisation we do around the Park.
How do I purchase tickets for the park?
All tickets will need to be purchased online in advance for a specific day. To guarantee a safe visit for everyone, the number of visitors allowed to access Paultons will be limited. Season Ticket Holders and existing day ticket holders will need to reserve a date in advance of their planned visit. More information here.
Tickets will be available to purchase online on the day of visit if there is available capacity.
We recommend guests download the Paultons Park App before arrival.
Will I still be able to visit the shops?
The Big Toy Shop, Outpost 12 and Peppa’s Toy Shop will remain open. Where necessary we have introduced capacity limits to our indoor and undercover areas such as restaurants, shops, and Guest Information areas. These capacities have been designed to allow the appropriate social distancing to take place. Face coverings must be worn in all of our shops as from 24th July 2020.
Can I still purchase food & drink at the park?
Yes, most of our restaurants and kiosks will remain open.
In restaurants, undercover seating, and patio areas, seating arrangements have been altered to allow adequate space between families. Where appropriate, additional seating areas have been configured in open spaces and garden areas which may not have previously been utilised for seating.
A range of food and refreshment options are available to be pre-ordered on selected days via the Park App and can be collected at a time of your choosing.
As usual, guests are still welcome to bring their own picnics when visiting the park. We ask that, where possible, guests take their waste home for responsible disposal.
Will car parking change?
For guests arriving by car we will be parking vehicles in line with current social distancing guidelines. There is ample car parking available to ensure we can park your vehicle quickly and efficiently. We ask that visitors please respect social distancing when leaving and returning to their vehicles. On arrival you may be asked to wait in your vehicle to help manage the number of visitors approaching the park entrance at one time.
Where do I find hand-washing facilities?
In addition to our extensive hand washing facilities located in our toilet and baby changing amenities we have a number of hand sanitiser and hand wash stations strategically located around the Park for the convenience of our guests.
Guests are welcomed and encouraged to also bring their own hand sanitiser to use around the park. We will also have a small selection of hand sanitisers available to purchase as part of our park essentials range.
Extra Hand Wash Stations have been set up at the following places.
- Peppa Pig World
- Next to the Coffee Station
- The Pavillion
- The Cobra
- Next to the Lost Kindom Toilets
Will toilet facilities be open?
We have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of our award-winning toilet facilities and as such all our toilets will be open with social distancing measures in place. We will be running enhanced cleaning schedules across these facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment for everyone.
Use of face coverings whilst at the Park.
In line with recent Government guidance face coverings will need to be worn by all guests (with the exception of children under 11 years and anyone with a disability or medical condition that precludes them from wearing a face covering) when entering any of our:

We recommend you bring your own face covering to wear as needed and ask you to please observe all signage and instructions relating to this.
If you are unable to wear a face covering for any of the reasons above we recommend you visit https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own or https://hiddendisabilitiesstore.com/shop.html to obtain a badge or card to signify you are exempt.
Guests are welcome to wear face coverings on site wherever they wish. There is, however, no necessity to wear them and this will not be enforced outside of the above environments as per the Government’s guidance for the theme park and attraction industry.
You may see some of our staff wearing face coverings and protective visors around the Park. This is to keep our teams who work in certain roles safe. As per government guidance it is not mandatory for our staff to wear face coverings at all times – all areas of operation have been fully risk assessed following the government guidance for the theme park and attraction industry.

Will you still accept cash at the park?
Paultons will be a cash-free environment so please ensure that you are able to make card or contactless payments for the day of your visit. If you do bring cash to the park and would like to use it then we will exchange your cash for a Paultons Gift Card at Admissions or The Hub which is located just inside The Big Toy Shop, which can be used at any of the outlets around Paultons (this can only be arranged at The Hub or our Admissions Kiosk).
What if I feel unwell before my visit?
Should a guest be displaying symptoms of COVID-19, including a high temperature, we would respectfully ask that they do not visit the Park. Please be aware that a guest displaying a high temperature will be refused entry.
How do I social distance on the rides?
Seating plans have been developed to allow social distancing on our rides and attractions in order to minimise contact between families. Please follow the instructions of the ride operator and appropriate signage.
Will everything be open?
Unfortunately, it is not feasible to make the required social distancing adjustments to all our attractions and facilities. Therefore, indoor play areas, 4D Show Street Cinema, Bouncer and trampolines and selected playgrounds will be closed. The closure of these attractions will be continually reviewed and revised as appropriate. Other operations and facilities may be modified or suspended without notice. During our Winter Season selected rides and attractions are unavailable due to ride maintenance
I’m a season ticket holder, why do I have to book?
I’m a season ticket holder – has anything changed I need to know about?
Will I be able to rent a stroller or wheelchair?
Yes. Strollers can be booked online when you book tickets and Wheelchairs are available to reserve by calling our team on 023 8081 4442 in advance of your visit. Please note there are a limited number of both strollers and wheelchairs available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Inclement Weather – Can I change the date of my visit once I have booked a ticket?
There are advantages to coming to the Park on a wet day, it will be quieter meaning less queues and more rides. All of our rides and attractions operate in the rain, so wrap up with the appropriate clothing, it can actually be the best day to come. It is very rare that it rains constantly all day in the UK.
However if you do want to change the date of your visit you will need to call us on 02380 814442, there will be a £20.00 charge at the time. We will move your booking to another day of your choice as long as that day has available capacity.
Amendments must be made 48 hours prior to the date of visit. We are unable to do this either on or after the date. Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.
