Do you have any undercover areas?

We have a number of undercover areas throughout the park. Our large covered picnic area is located close to the pirate ship. Many of our food outlets have seating areas which benefit from parasol umbrellas.

Our 4D cinema and George’s Indoor Playzone provide great indoor entertainment.

Some of our rides are water based. As part of our gardens we also have ponds and lakes. All of which are fenced off.

What can I expect from the Lab?

The Lab is situated along Show Street. It is a fully-themed classroom ‘attraction’. There will be UV lighting, bubbling test tubes, sounds, smoke and smells. We are able to control all the effects and turn them off if necessary. Please discuss any requirements with the Education Officer

Do you have a prepared risk assessment?

Please see our resources page for our risk assessment and zoo licence.

Do you offer a pre-visit?

We offer schools a two-hour pass for two adults to visit us in advance of a trip. The Education Officer would be delighted to give you a tour, answer all of your questions and show you the Learning Lab. Please email to arrange a pre-visit.
