Aldabra Tortoises can live for over 200 years. Paultons Tortoises arrived in 1994 and were approximately 30cm long. They risk death by tipping onto their backs and being unable to right themselves. The average male weighs 150kg – equivalent to a small motorbike!
Natural Habitat
Islands of Aldabra Atoll, Seychelles.
Diet
Grass, Leaves, Fruit and Plant Stems.
