The female lays only 2 eggs and both parents will help rear the chicks for up to 2 years. The males are highly protective to anything coming near to their nest or family during the breeding season.

Natural Habitat

Found only on the island of Palawan in the southern part of Philippine archipelago.

Diet

Earwigs, insect larvae, molluscs, centipedes, termites, small frogs, seeds and berries.
