This October half term, bring the family to the best and most frightfully fun Halloween theme park event in the UK. Halloween Spooktacular is back for another year, with even more spooky fun to be had!

If your little ghost hunters love spooky characters, fantastic photo opportunities, thrilling late-night openings and plenty of Halloween fun, come and join us at Paultons Park in Hampshire!

From Halloween shows and spooky surprises to Peppa Pig World dressed up for the season, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy. 

When are the festivities?

  • The Halloween Spooktacular will take place from 9th October - 2nd November 2026.
  • Late-night openings will take place again on 17th, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th and 29th October 2026. (Peppa Pig World closes at 6pm). 
  • The Little Monsters Ball will take place on the show stage during the event.  
  • The Great Halloween Mystery / Spirit Squad Ghoul School. Shows will take place between 17th October - 2nd November. 
  • Ghostly Manor - our interactive dark ride is open all through the event!
  • Valgard at Halloween - Viking chants, roaming characters, magic, storytelling and circus skills. 

Where is the Halloween theme park event?

The event takes place at Paultons Park on the edge of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire.

Halloween at Valgard: Realm of the Vikings

Prepare for a Viking adventure this Halloween at Valgard! Young warriors can take on three interactive challenges testing their courage, wisdom and unity to become official Defenders of Valgard. From 3pm, the land comes alive with Viking chants, roaming characters, magic, storytelling and circus skills. On selected dates, don't miss the spectacular Heartfire Keeper fire performance, bringing the Viking adventure to a thrilling finale!

 

The Great Halloween Mystery

The Great Halloween Mystery returns to the Show Stage from 17th October! 

Pickles is back and ready to kick things off with a spook-tacular Halloween party – but it’s not long before things start to go awry! Of course, not everyone’s pleased about the party – The Grumpy Gatekeeper is up to his old tricks again!

Can Pickles and friends solve the mystery and save the celebration to throw the biggest bash the Manor has ever seen? You’ll have to visit to find out!

Explore our themed worlds

There’s even more to explore during your Halloween day out! Step into six incredible themed worlds packed with rides, attractions and adventures for the whole family.

Experience Peppa Pig World, transformed with colourful Halloween decorations for the season or head to Valgard, where the world of the Vikings gets its own spooky makeover.

Dinosaur fans can also enjoy a dinosaur park Halloween adventure in Lost Kingdon, coming face-to-face with prehistoric giants and taking on roarsome rides like Dino Chase and The Dinosaur Tour Co.

You can also explore the Wild West in Tornado Springs dressed for Halloween, meet curious creatures in Critter Creek and discover fascinating animals in Wild Lands. You’re sure to have the best time, wherever your Halloween adventure takes you!

Ticket Availability:

All rides will be open during the Halloween Spooktacular event (subject to availability) except for:

  • Water Kingdom, Muddy Puddles and Seal Falls will be closed
  • Velociraptor will be closed from 1st - 11th October
  • Sky Swinger will be closed from 12th - 18th October

Yes - all Halloween shows and attractions are included in the ticket price. 

Late-night openings will take place again on 17th, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th and 29th October 2026. (Peppa Pig World closes at 6pm). 

There is no extra charge for these dates. 

Paultons Park is an outdoor attraction and the vast majority of the rides are outside, however they still operate when raining. 

Some rides and attractions are affected by the weather and may close during extreme conditions such as very low temperatures, high winds, very heavy rain or thunder and lightning.

We have undercover seating areas at the show stage where the live shows take place.
