Floating Globe
The new ’plaza’ entrance area was created in 2008 to mark the Park’s 25th anniversary. The spacious entry to the park features the fascinating Floating Globe. Measuring 1.5 metres in diameter it is the largest of its type in UK. The Floating Globe is made of solid granite and weighs 6.5 tonnes, yet it ’floats’ on jets of waters and can be turned with the touch of a finger - it is truly amazing.
