Unusual plants found in Critter Creek

Tuesday 24th March 2015 - Attractions

Critter Creek our exciting new mini-land is now open. Discover a fully themed world of mixed-up creatures known as the ‘Curious Critters’.

Scattered throughout the land are some unusual plants found by Professor Blast on his adventures.

Here is our guide to the curious plants you can expect to see.

Eye Pod – A new eye pod has arrived and with its giant eyes it will watch your every move as you explore the land.

Big Pitcher - The Big Pitcher also has eyes, but this plant has super powers and can see through objects.

Walnut Whipper - Count the number of different coloured stripes as you pass the Walnut Whipper. This plant catches tiny bugs from a distance with its long leaves, but they do it very discretely and never get caught.

Creeper Tree - The Creeper Tree is very spontaneous and when no one is watching starts swaying left and right, dancing to the music in Critter Creek!

Bell-Pod – Listen carefully for when it’s very windy because the Bell-pod is rumoured to explode with the noise of the ringing bells.

Over-Clover – The Over-Clover is a very calm plant and enjoys relaxing in the sun or drinking the winter rainwater.

Discover these mysterious plants and a variety of other creatures in Critter Creek – the new mini land at Paultons Park.
