Charity Requests and Community Support

Paultons is a family owned and run business and our directors are pleased to support our local community and their charities in many ways.  We offer tickets, sponsor local sporting teams and donate raffle prizes to events taking place within a 10 mile radius of Paultons.  We also provide a venue for charity events. We focus our aid on those registered charities where the prime beneficiary will be children i.e. hospital wards, hospices, medical appeals, organisations supporting seriously ill/disabled or disadvantaged children, other child focused groups such as the Girl Guide and Scouting movement and young carer and young volunteer groups. Please note that we don't offer tickets to schools to use in raffles unless they are within our immediate vicinity.

Charity requests should be submitted in writing, on headed paper, at least 6 weeks before the date of any event and sent to the following address:

Charity Requests
Paultons Park
Ower, Romsey

All letters must detail a valid email address as tickets will be emailed to successful applicants as a PDF attachment.  By submitting a request for tickets you authorise for your email address to be registered on our system for the purpose of emailing tickets if successful. If unsuccessful, your contact details will not be registered.

Please note that letters from independent fundraisers will only be considered if a registered charity number or letter of authority is provided. Email requests or messages on social media will not be considered.

We regret that Paultons Park Ltd is unable to donate any Paultons or Peppa Pig products.

As we receive thousands of requests for support each year it is not possible to assist with or respond to all applications. If you have not heard from us within 6 weeks of your submission then we regret that your request has been unsuccessful.

Special Family Requests

We receive many requests for tickets or special experiences from families with seriously ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children or family members each year. We have a limited number of special tickets available each year to help these families enjoy a day at Paultons and Peppa Pig World.  We limit an individual family to a maximum of 5 tickets per year (for the child and immediate family members). We regret we are unable to help with any travel or accommodation costs.

All requests for assistance should be made in writing with documentary evidence to verify the circumstances described in the letter i.e., doctor’s letter, consultant’s diagnosis etc.  We require one to two sentences briefly outlining the condition the child or your family member may have including their age and full name as we are often approached by several individuals looking to help the same family.

It may take up to 6 weeks for each request to be assessed by our Board of Directors, however urgent and time critical requests will be dealt with as soon as possible.  Please send your request to:

Premium Charity Partners

Southampton Hospital Charity – Southampton Children’s Hospital

Southampton Hospital Charity enhances the support, care, and treatment of patients at Southampton Children’s Hospital. They provide support to areas of the hospital that lie beyond the scope of NHS funding.

This includes funding specialist equipment, ward refurbishments and improvements, support for their patients, family, and staff, as well as pioneering research.

Between 2019 and 2022 the Park raised £125,000 to support the incredible Play Team. This money will be used to refurbish and equip a specialist sensory playroom for patients and a designated play and activity space within the Children’s Hospital.

Lymphoma UK - The Blood Cancer Research Charity

Lymphoma UK was founded in memory of Karen Jane Ingram, a mother of two from Portsmouth who sadly passed away in July of 2008 from Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, aged just 40.

Over 14,000 people are diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma each year with around 4,800 attributable deaths. Since 2020 we have granted over £21,000 to medical researchers at The University of Southampton to undertake clinical cancer trials into the disease, led by Professor Peter Johnson, lymphoma expert.

Charitable Work

Paultons is delighted to work with many other local charity organisations in our local community, many of which we have been supporting for over 20 years.

Here are just some of the wonderful organisations we work with:

The Piam Brown Children’s Cancer Ward, Southampton Hospital - one of 22 regional centres across the UK treating children and adolescents with cancer and haematological disorders.

The Rainbow Trust - Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity supports families with a child aged 0-18 years with a life-threatening or terminal illness.

Honeypot Children’s Charity - Since 1996 Honeypot has been working to enhance the lives of young carers aged 5-12 years by providing respite breaks and ongoing outreach support. In the UK nationwide, they give young carers a break from demanding and stressful responsibilities at home and provide a safe, nurturing environment where children at risk can develop their full potential.

Fostering Hampshire Children – helping give awareness to Hampshire County Council’s campaign to find an additional 150 fostering households by the end of 2023.

Murray Parish Trust - to advance paediatric emergency medicine, ensuring children affected by major trauma have the chance to receive the best emergency care.

Copythorne Church – we have helped our local church with repairs to the roof and a complete refurbishment of their magnificent church organ.

Copythorne Parish Council – we worked with the local council to help fund the installation of a new playground in the Parish.

Copythorne Parish Pickers - founded by Stuart Jarvis, former Chairman of Copythorne Parish Council, in February 2019, with the aim of collecting litter in the Parish of Copythorne and run entirely by volunteers.

The Royal British Legion  - The Royal British Legion is at the heart of a national network that supports the Armed Forces community.

Sahara Conservation  - The Sahara Conservation Fund conserves the wildlife, habitats and other natural resources of the Sahara and its bordering Sahelian grasslands.

Hampshire Wildlife Trust - Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts, all standing up for the natural world.

Team Sponsorship

Paultons is actively involved in supporting local children’s and adult team sports.

We are proud to sponsor:

Local Economy

Paultons is the largest employer in the New Forest National Park and works with many local suppliers and organisations.

There are over 30 local hotels partnered with our official short breaks scheme with Holiday Extras. The bookings made via Paultons Breaks deliver tens of thousands of room nights to these hotels each year.

We are proud to work with New Forest Ice Cream who supply all our restaurants and food outlets with their delicious tempting treats!

Paultons welcomes over 1,000,000 guests to the Park each year. Guests travel to Paultons from every postcode sector in the UK and we estimate that these guests bring in excess of £50 million into the local tourism industry each year helping hotels, self-catering accommodation, shops, restaurants and other attractions.
