Two eggs are normally laid and are incubated by both parents. The chicks leave the nest within 2-3 weeks but are unable to fly for another week or so.
Found mainly in Zambia, central Angola, the uplands of Southern Kenya and Northern and Western Tanzania where it lives in forested upland and wooded inland plateaus.
They feed on mainly mixed fruits and green leaves but sometimes eat small insects in their flimsy stick nests high up in the tree tops.Book Tickets
