Access to the Ride

Main access route:

Access is via the entrance. There are no steps to negotiate.

Queue Assist/Access route for guests in wheelchairs:

The main entrance allows level wheelchair access to the train. If the train is not in the station, guests may have to wait up to approximately 10 minutes for it to return. Up to 2 wheelchair users can be accommodated in their wheelchairs, in the same carriage on the train, at the same time, together with the wheelchair users’ accompanying guests. There is no independent means of securing wheelchairs, their brakes must be applied before departure of the train.

 

Requirements for All Passengers

Cognitive Requirements:

All passengers must be able to perceive the concepts of risk and danger, and understand that, for their own safety, they must remain seated at all times whilst using the ride. If there is any doubt as to a passenger’s cognitive ability, then for their own safety they must be accompanied by a responsible adult, or must not use this ride. Please note that this judgement must be the responsibility of the individual passenger, parent or carer, as it is impossible for our Operators to assess an individual’s cognitive abilities.

Restraint type:

There is no form of passenger restraint on this ride. To ensure their own safety all passengers must be able to remain seated at all times.

Passenger Requirements:

There is no minimum height restriction for this ride. Babies in arms are permitted on this ride. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at the driver’s discretion.  1 adult can accompany up to 5 children, seated in the same carriage.

All passengers should be in good general health and free from heart, back, neck or other conditions which may be aggravated by this ride. Passengers must be able to bend their legs at their hips and knees. Plaster casts/medical boots may be permitted – please check with the Operator.

Magnetic Fields:

Strong magnetic fields are not present on this ride.

 

Additional Information for Guests with Disabilities, Missing Limbs/Amputations or Neurodiversity

We respectfully request our guests with disabilities, amputations or neurodiversity, or those people caring for them, to consider the additional information below in deciding whether this ride will be suitable for themselves or those under their care.

Other Physical Safety Requirements:

All passengers must possess good upper body control and must be able to sit upright unaided and be able to hold on or brace with 1 functioning limb.

Lower leg and secure arm prosthetics may be worn.

If Evacuation is Necessary:

In the unlikely event that evacuation is necessary, guests must be able to understand and be able to follow our instructions. If evacuation is necessary, it can be difficult to evacuate guests in their wheelchair away from the ride station. Consequently, guests may have to walk up for up to 5 minutes along uneven ground or wait until the ride can be re-started. Evacuations can be prolonged events to ensure the safety of everyone involved, and we kindly ask for everyone’s patience and understanding during this process.
