Access to the Ride

Main access route:

Access is via the entrance ramp. There are no steps to negotiate.

Queue Assist/Access route for guests in wheelchairs:

The Queue Assist entrance is a pathway that runs to the left of the main entrance queue line, which leads to the loading platform - please speak to the ride operator.  There is no access for guests in wheelchairs. All passengers must be able to walk approximately 20 steps to the accessible entrance, where there is 1 step to negotiate. All passengers must be able to climb aboard the ride vehicle.

 

Requirements for All Passengers

Cognitive Requirements:

All passengers must be able to perceive the concepts of risk and danger, and understand that, for their own safety, they must remain seated and hold on at all times whilst using the ride. If there is any doubt as to a passenger’s cognitive ability, then for their own safety they must be accompanied by a responsible adult, or must not use this ride. Please note that this judgement must be the responsibility of the individual passenger, parent or carer, as it is impossible for our Operators to assess an individual’s cognitive abilities.

Restraint type:

There is no form of passenger restraint on this ride. To ensure their own safety all passengers must be able to remain seated and hold on with both hands at all times, whilst bracing with both legs to resist the motion of the ride.

Passenger Requirements:

All passengers must be at least 0.85m tall to ride. Children under 1.1m must ride in the front seat accompanied by a responsible adult. Children over 1.1m must ride alone on the rear seat. During peak times adult riders must be accompanying a child on the same dinosaur and cannot ride alone.  Please refer to ride signage on the day of visit.

All passengers should be in good general health and free from heart, back, neck or other conditions which may be aggravated by this ride. Passengers must be able to bend their legs at their hips and knees. Plaster casts/medical boots are not permitted.

Magnetic Fields:

Magnetic fields are present on this ride. Guests fitted with a pacemaker should seek medical advice.

 

Additional Information for Guests with Disabilities, Missing Limbs/Amputations or Neurodiversity

We respectfully request our guests with disabilities, amputations or neurodiversity, or those people caring for them, to consider the additional information below in deciding whether this ride will be suitable for themselves or those under their care.

Other Physical Safety Requirements:

All passengers must possess full body control. Passengers must be able to sit upright unaided, hold on with both hands and brace with both legs.

This ride is not suitable for guests with prosthetics or missing limbs.

If Evacuation is Necessary:

In the unlikely event that evacuation is necessary, guests must be able to understand and be able to follow our instructions. If evacuation is necessary, guests may have to walk up to approximately 50 steps over slightly uneven ground and climb over the track, which is approximately 500mm (20 inches) high. Evacuations can be prolonged events to ensure the safety of everyone involved, and we kindly ask for everyone’s patience and understanding during this process.
