Bynoe’s Gecko

Bynoe’s Geckos are parthenogenetic, this means they do not need males to reproduce. Females are able to produce a genetic clone of themselves. Eggs are laid under rocks, logs and in the ground covered by dirt. Each female will produce one clutch of eggs per year.
Natural Habitat
Found throughout Australia, other than the South East. They reside in a variety of habitats from sandy areas, tropical rainforests and deserts.
Diet
Bynoe’s geckos are mainly active at night and forage for a variety of insects and their larvae.
