Leopard Gecko

If confronted or attacked by a predator the Leopard Gecko can drop its tail which will continue to wriggle and provide enough distraction for it to escape. The Gecko’s tail does grow back after some time.
Habitat
Rocky, dry grassland and desert regions of SE Afghanistan, Pakistan, NW India and some parts of Iran.
Diet
Carnivores: feeding on other lizards, insects, spiders and scorpions.
