Its colour and markings act as camouflage in order to be almost invisible when stationary. Geckos hide in holes during the day and then emerge at dusk to search for food.
Habitat
Semi-arid to arid regions of hardened ground as well as stone deserts and sandy coastal plains.
Diet
Feeds on small insects especially desert beetles.
