Take control of your own Sky Swinger in the role of an engineer who is responsible for programming the ride sequence before the guests arrive in the park! Students will work in pairs with a laptop and motorised K’Nex model to develop their individual ride sequence and experience the enjoyment of seeing their coding skills come to life.

Learning Objectives:

  • Design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals
  • Use sequence, selection and repetition in programs
  • Work with variables and various forms of input and output
  • Use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly
  • Solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts
